NOTE: The numbers below are generic calculations provided for your reference. The housing rates are calculated based on the number of credits that a student is taking at a specific point in time. To be sure you’ll be receiving the appropriate BAH rate, every student should contact the VA at 888-442-4551.
Additionally:
- BAH is only payable for a rate of pursuit greater than 50%.
- Rate of Pursuit is calculated by the Department of Veterans Affairs. This calculation is determined by training level, credits taken in a term, and length of term. The University of Pittsburgh does not calculate the Rate of Pursuit.
