Scholarships and Awards

The following scholarships are available through OVS. Donate to these scholarships. 

Bill and Emily Kuzma Military Service Fund Summer Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to students to cover the tuition and fee costs for one 3 credit course during the summer term at the University of Pittsburgh. Current application deadline has been extended to April 10, 2019. APPLY HERE

Stephen Bersani Military Service Legacy Fund

This fund primarily supports military affiliated students enrolled in the School of Computing and Information or pursuing such courses as are required for matriculation into the school.

Richard A. Cranney Sr. Veterans Business Educational Opportunity Fund

This fund benefits military affiliated graduate or undergraduate students in the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business or the College of Business Administration.

Wounded Warrior and Veterans Educational Assistance Fund

This fund was established to assist veterans, particularly wounded veterans, and their dependents in achieving their educational goals.

General John Schoeppner and Dr. Martha Monagan-Hart Engineering Legacy Fund

This fund supports undergraduate veteran students enrolled in the Swanson School of Engineering or pursuing such courses as are required for matriculation in the Swanson School.

Honors College Scholarship Opportunities

Veterans have specific advantages when applying for scholarships and fellowships outside of Pitt. The Honors College can help you figure out what scholarships to apply for, how to do it, and how to do it well!

Scholarships offered through the Katz Graduate School of Business

The Katz MBA program has scholarships available to active military and veteran students. Students who are admitted to the full-time MBA program are automatically considered for the Katz scholarships, such as the Gerald and Roberta Faigle Scholarship. Multiple awards are available each year. Submit your application for admission no later than February 1 to qualify.
