Wounded Warrior and Veterans Educational Assistance Fund

In honor of the courage and sacrifice of Sergeant Jeremy W. Feldbusch (A&S ’01) and other U.S. military personnel, this fund awards scholarships of $2,500 per recipient to help veterans, particularly wounded veterans, and their dependents achieve their educational goals.

Scholarships provide financial support for educational expenses not covered by military and/or other governmental benefits, based upon the following order of priority: wounded veterans, dependents of fallen or wounded veterans, and veterans.

Awards are made in the fall and spring. For the fall term, applications are normally accepted into August. For the spring term, applications are normally accepted into November. Contact the Office of Veterans Services for more information. The application can be downloaded here. All application materials must be submitted to the office directly or emailed to veterans@pitt.edu.
