University of Pittsburgh

Support

Overview

From academic and financial aid assistance to career counseling and networking, Pitt offers a range of services and programs specifically designed to provide guidance to student veterans or active military personnel. In addition, the University offers student programs, services, and activities for adult or nontraditional students, which veteran students may find useful and supportive.

Pre-college Advising

Success begins with a solid plan, and that means getting your questions answered.  Pre-admission college planning sessions are available to help prospective students evaluate their prior academic experience, interests, and long-term goals and to learn about the many options available to them at Pitt.
