Veterans Education Benefits

The Office of Veterans Services offers assistance to veterans and families of veterans who are eligible for veterans’ educational benefits under the Montgomery GI Bill and Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Program and the Post 9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008.  We can help you apply for benefits, provide information, and serve as a liaison between you and the VA Regional Processing Office. Visit the registrar site to learn more.

  • Application Fee Waiver
Pitt waives the application fee for veterans. Just enter the code "VETR" in the fee waiver box under your name on the online application or attach a note to the printed application with the code on it.
  • Late Fees Waived
Concerned about accruing late fees as you wait for your education benefits to be processed? At Pitt, we understand that, through no fault of your own, you may be late in paying your tuition bill. Pitt will waive the late fees you would normally accrue if your tuition bill cannot be paid on time. In order for us to ensure that you do not pay late fees, please certify your benefits with our Veterans Services office prior to or immediately after you register for your courses.
